Bilberries



Bilberries (Vaccinium myrtillus) are rich in antioxidants and contain manganese, quercetin and vitamins C and K. They promote eye health, fight inflammation, prevents dementia, improve heart health, prevent diabetes, reduces the risk of cancer and treat atherosclerosis. Bilberries is a perfect way to start your day: in smoothies, juice, on yougurt/sour milk or on the porridge.
Bilberries are very similar to Blueberries. In Sweden, Bilberries are actually called Blueberries - Blåbär.
