Discover Sprouting and microgreens, a nutrient dense food for health given by God allmighty. I haven't tried cultivating it myself but it sure looks lovely with all those pretty small leaves. But I think I have eaten some cress. Cruciferus plants such as Broccoli sprouts, Califlower sprouts, Cabbage sprouts and Kale sprouts contains the antioxidants Glucoraphanin and Myrosinase which are the precursors to Sulforaphane. Eating the plants (chewing, chopping, cutting them) creates a reaction that produces sulforaphane in the body. Sulforaphane fights depression, anxiety, cancer, inflammation, autism and more. Sprouts also contains Quercetin a powerful antioxidant.
