Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances
"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. Is it possible? This is perhaps one of the most disobeyed commands within christianity. We have a lot to learn. As Christians we should have so many things to make us glad and rejoice. Prayer will probably be the most central thing in daily life in heaven. The happy, thankful love relation between us and God will permeate everything we do there. God will speak directly to our thoughts and we will answer Him. In heaven it will be very easy to rejoice seeing Jesus face to face. Hopefully we can rejoice already here and now thinking of God and His love and gladness, that He wants us, that He has created us becuase he wants the relation. Of course God can speak directly to our thought already here on Earth but in heaven it will be on a complete different level.

"It is God’s will that we pray always."

I hope this page can help you rejoice and pray more often. Sometimes I wonder, happiness is it a benefit/privilege or is it an attitude? It is possible to be very rich and still be unhappy. It's also possible to be very poor and still be happy.
To believe in eternal life with God in paradise is something to rejoice over.
We have a lot to learn from Job in the Bible. Even when his life was almost completely destroyed by death, loss and illness he did not became bitter on God. He praised God in the midst of his suffering. He was very mature spiritually and God also rewarded him for that. This is a great challenge for all of us. Many are we who life in material abundance and health. Then it's easy for us to rejoice and to thank God. But what if we get in trouble? Can we praise God even then? Can we rejoice in the Lord then? If you can rejoice even when you are poor, it means that you are in reality rich.
"having nothing, yet possessing everything"
"as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold, we live; as punished, and yet not killed; as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, yet possessing everything."
2 Corinthians 6:9-10
Pray to God!
Prayer affects God's heart. It affects the spiritual unseen world. Also, when you pray it's very hard to sin. Nowadays I pray 11 minutes in the morning before breakfast (99% of the times it's before breakfast). Evening prayer is about between 20 seconds to some minute some times. During the day I talk to God and Jesus a whole lot. I do it at work, when I'm walking, cykling, waiting for the buss. I say "thank you Jesus", "I praise you Jesus", "I lift up the name of Jesus Christ", "Thank good God that you're a good God", "thanks for your love", "I'm so glad that it's you who are God and not an evil person", "I ask for spiritual protection for my mind, my senses, my thoughts". I also pray for other people of course. I pray for people's salvation, for salvation for family and relatives, work mates and others. When I pray I always start with a "Thank you God for.." and then I say something that I'm glad over for that day. I know I have a lot to learn about prayer. If I grow spiritually I guess I will start to listen more to God and not only speak to Him. Besides asking God for things we want or need we should also talk to Him about how awesome and great He is and how grateful we are.

Replace this, this, this, this, this with this
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

The four beings around the throne of God
These beings constantly pray around the throne of God. It is fantastic!
Day and night they say without ceasing:
"Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come."
They are not robots, they do it of their own free will because they love God and respect Him.

Psalm 33 The Lord's omnipotence and grace
This is a wonderful psalm. Read it!
Psalm 33
For thus says the One who is high and lifted up, who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, and also with him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly, and to revive the heart of the contrite.
Isaiah 57:15
