The Bible and homosexuality
All people are created in God's image and are loved by God. This also applies to LGBTQ people. Jesus loves them and He died and rose for them. God loves us humans but He doesn't like everything we do. The Bible clearly shows that homosexuality is against God's will. It is not so easy to write about this, but as a Christian you must follow God's word: the Bible.

God loves all people
God loves you who are gay, lesbian, bisexual or born with an ambiguous gender, absolutely. You are loved by God!
I came out as gay when I was 18-19 and lived openly as gay ever since. About 20 years later, in October 2013 I decided to stop living out my homosexual orientation because of what God's word in the Bible says. I didn't want to live against God's word. It didn't feel good.
Since God is the creator of the universe and life, he sets the rules, he has made everything.
God created man as man and woman so that we can live together in lifelong love relationships and so carry on with life. It is a very cool way that God has chosen to carry life on when a man and a woman have intercourse and thus create a new life, a new human being. That is God's intention for our sexuality. God intended sexual acts, sexual relationships and marriage for heterosexual couples, between one man and one woman.
The church or the state must therefore not bless same-sex marriages.
Some people do not have a clear gender, so it is a little more difficult to judge there.
What does the Bible say about homosexual acts and homosexual relationships?
The Bible strongly condemns all homosexual behavior. Nowhere in the Bible can you find a word that blesses homosexuality. Homosexual acts and relations are sin, wrong and against God's will, God's order.
If you are living a homosexual lifestyle, God wants you to change your lifestyle. This is very difficult, I know from personal experience. But Jesus' power is great. He will help you if you ask him.
I think we should treat gay people with love, kindness and respect.
I myself can have sexual feelings for men sometimes, but I have to say that these days they come very rarely actually. Almost only in dreams at night. You must have respect for God's word, the Bible and what is true, right and righteous.
I have lived as an open homosexual but not anymore
I have lived as an openly gay man for 20 years. I changed my lifestyle radically in 2013/2014. This is not an easy question for me. It has been an enormous internal conflict. The guilt and shame have been very heavy, almost killing me at times. So because of this it has been easier for me to think that homosexuality is ok, then I don't have to worry or feel guilty. If you are a Christian, you believe that there is morality that comes from God, right and wrong. And one also accepts that God is one's Lord, one's Creator, one's Master. When God finally opened my eyes and made me focus on the Bible, His Word and what is written there (Romans), then I realized that I had to make a total change in my life because homosexuality is a sin and against God's will. I had to give up something that I didn't want to give up. I had to give up something that I loved very much - my own sexuality, my homosexuality. It was very valuable to me. I lived for sex. I was completely blind to the fact that it was a sin and all the other sins it had brought into my life like watching porn, going to video clubs and having sex, fornication and one time sex etc.
I broke up with my lover and friend and it was painful. Nowadays, I rarely have sexual feelings for men and if I do, I don't act on them. I don't have any sex these days and I don't think about sex very much. I don't watch porn.
God does not want me to live as a homosexual, it is a sin and it is not part of his plan for humanity. Also, my soul was almost poisoned by all the porn I was watching so I'm glad I've been freed from that.
God wants to be with us but not with sin
Homosexuality is a sin, thus against God's will. The Bible says so. But it is not man that God wants to fight but sin, i.e. the wrong we do. That's what he wants to get rid of. Not us. He wants to be with us but He wants us to change and He stands with open arms waiting for us.
The Christian message is that God can and will forgive our mistakes and sins through what his son Jesus Christ has done for us when he sacrificed his life for us. Through Jesus' righteousness, his suffering, death and resurrection, God can forgive sins. We are all sinners and we must forgive each other, we must love each other. Divorcing just because you feel like it and remarrying is also wrong. It is called adultery according to the Bible and is sinful, it is against God's will.
I believe that if you are living a gay or lesbian life, God wants you to change the way you live. God is love but he is also holy. Think of God's word and his law.
We will all stand before the judgment seat of God one day to be tried before eternity and our final destination.
Although I believe that homosexuality is a sin and against God's will, I believe that God can and wants to accept LGBTQ people as his children because he loves us.
There I'm mainly thinking of LGBT people who perhaps mostly live as singles without lots of different sex partners, who don't watch porn, who perhaps don't really make much of their homosexuality.
Leave the Gay culture
I would like to urge you who are gay to stay away from gay culture as much as possible because it is so incredibly infected with porn, promiscuity, sexual immorality, superficiality, drugs and sin. You just become empty and destroyed by living like that.
God is a holy God and almighty. He is a consuming fire. Consider what is written in the Bible and God's wrath against sin. It's true.
That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.

This shows what gay culture is often about: self love, to worship one's ego, to aggrandize oneself.
What is the most famous gay song of all time? I will survive with Gloria Gaynor. And it's about broken relationships. That's pretty much what you get from the homosexual lifestyle in the long run. But I've certainly met a lot of nice people in the gay community, boyfriends I've had. But it's just that those kinds of relationships are not according to God's will. I so wish they would just start loving Jesus.
