Epilepsy

Epilepsy is a neurological disorder characterized by unpredictable seizures.
Seizure types varies from person-to-person and are often characterized by partial or complete loss of consciousness. Seizures, fainting etc can be caused by many different things and rates of misdiagnosed epilepsy is high. A correct diagnosis to find the underlying cause for seizures should be the first priority. Take blood and urine test for complete mineral analysis, check electrolyte levels in blood, review nutrition. Examine possible deficiency of vitamin B1 / Thiamine, vitamin B12, B6, magnesium, potassium, amino acids, etc. Epilepsy is misdiagnosed in 90 000 people a year in England and Wales.

Causes for seizures
Here are things that can cause seizures: Electrolyte imbalance, mineral imbalance, low blood oxygen, lack of oxygen in brain, respiratory problems, breathing abnormalities, lung problems, heart problems, vitamin B1/Thiamine deficiency, chemical food additives, side effects of medicines and vaccines, head injury, birth complications, aging, stroke, recreational drugs etc.

Misdiagnosed epilepsy
Incorrect epilepsy diagnosis is very common and thus also incorrect medication. People with seizures and similar problems should be adequately assisted in getting rid of their problems.

Electrolyte imbalance seizures and epilepsy
Seizures are often caused by electrolyte mineral imbalance. Take a blood test and request a full mineral analysis. Check the levels of electrolytes - mineral levels such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium, phosphate and chloride etc.
The ammount of these substances in the blood must be kept within strict levels. The levels should not be too high but not to low either.
roswellpark.org
thelancet.com

Electrolyte imbalance causes a lot of problems including seizures and muscle spasm
"Electrolytes are chemicals in the body that regulate important physiological functions and include sodium, chloride, magnesium, potassium and calcium."
"Electrolytes must exist in the body within a narrow concentration range in order to effectively serve a variety of critical functions The normal range is measured per liter of blood. Electrolyte imbalance refers to a value higher or lower than the normal range and can cause a variety of symptoms."
"An electrolyte imbalance may lead to a number of symptoms that depend on which electrolyte is out of balance and whether the level is too high or too low."

Seizures caused by electrolyte disorders and hyponatremia, hypocalcemia, and hypomagnesemia
"Seizures represent an important clinical manifestation of electrolyte disorders and are more frequently observed in patients with hyponatremia, hypocalcemia, and hypomagnesemia. In these subjects, the successful management of seizures begins with an accurate diagnosis of the underlying electrolyte disturbances. Complete serum chemistry, including sodium, calcium, and magnesium, should therefore be part of the initial diagnostic workup in patients with seizures. Early identification and correction of these disturbances are necessary to control seizures and prevent permanent brain damage, as AED alone are generally ineffective if the electrolyte disorder persists. In fact, treatment of seizures secondary to electrolyte imbalances is determined by the underlying cause of the disturbance, and in most cases administration of AED is not necessary as long as the underlying disturbance is rectified"

Epileptic seizures caused by food additives

MSG - Monosodium glutamate - E621
Monosodium glutamate can trigger seizures. This food additive is included in many different food products. Small amounts is perhaps not harmful. But since it is included in so much food you are likely to get a quite big daily doze dose of this chemical. Too much for your own good. Monosodium glutamate is actually a natural part of the human brain. It is a neurotransmitter that helps to send signals between brain cells. If you constatly add extra Monosodium glutamate to you body then the brain cells get an overload and will be completely overstimulated. It becomes like pressing a switch on and off several times a second. Finally, the brain cells begin to die, over-stimulated to death.
Because of their ability to cause this intense activity in the brain Monosodium glutamate, Aspartame are called Excitotoxins.

Mayoclinic is corrupt
Mayoclinic is corrupt. They say that "Epilepsy has no identifiable cause in about half the people with the condition." Is this really true? On their page about causes of epilepsy there is not one word mentioned about electrolyte imbalance and the word mineral does not even appear.

On their page here about diagnosis and treatment for epilepsy the words minerals and nutrients are not mentioned.

Ok they mention Ketogenic diet so one plus for them there. But they also say: "Most people with epilepsy can become seizure-free by taking one anti-seizure medication, which is also called anti-epileptic medication."

Let's see here what an "anti-epileptic" medication can do? First, make money for the pharmaceutical company of course. And..
